Krista Donaldson is CEO of D-Rev, where she combines her interest in engineering and smart design with her passion for solving difficult problems. Krista has driven innovation in product design, engineering, and international development for more than 15 years. Her doctoral work was among the first to focus on engineering and social entrepreneurship in less industrialized economies. Before joining D-Rev, Krista was a Diplomacy Fellow in the U.S. Department of State’s American Association for the Advancement of Science and worked as a Design Engineer for KickStart International. Krista was named one of Fast Company Co.Design’s “50 Designers Shaping the Future” and a “Technology Pioneer” by the World Economic Forum. She is a Rainer Arnhold Fellow and a Pop!Tech Social Innovation Fellow. Krista holds a BE from Vanderbilt University and a MSE (product design), MSME, and a PhD from Stanford University.
D-Rev develops and distributes radically affordable medical device technologies designed to solve critical health gaps at hospitals that treat underserved and vulnerable populations in more than 50 countries. D-Rev is a nonprofit portfolio medical device company whose products have treated more than 145,000 patients who would not have had access to effective care otherwise.
